December week 2

Back to Core!
Your core muscles (abdominals) are the key to everything in fitness and good health. These muscles create your balance and stabilize everything you do! You need to make sure you are working on these muscles daily. Our core muscles are essential in preventing any injuries while exercising. There's a reason your mom says to "...stand up/sit up straight..." It strengthens your core!

  1. I didn’t know our core muscles can help prevent injury while exercising. But I did know that one way to strengthen our abdominals is to have good posture. Doing daily curl-ups is also another way you can work on your core muscles.

  2. Like dmkddfun said, I did not know core muscles can help prevent injury. I would like to start working my core more and hopefully I could ask my sister's boyfriend (who is a personal trainer) for some advice.

  5. I do situps at night before I go to bed. I have been doing it for several years now. I like to do them with a fitness routine I do before I go to bed every night.I think it has helped keep my core strong.
