Happy New Year!
Let's talk about goal setting. I believe big time in setting goals. It helps in all areas of our lives. In fitness you need to set new and attainable goals every few months or so, (once you've attained the ones you've set). Make sure they are realistic and goals you can reach. Did you know 80% of all goals made for the New Year are broken or forgotten by March?! Once you don't finish or obtain the goals you've set for yourself, the negative thoughts flood in and our self esteem plummets! (I know I've often set some very lofty fitness goals for myself and then failed to reach them)
Let's keep positive, set attainable/realistic goals and be a success story!
I dare you....

When it comes to New Year's Resolution, I don't set many major fitness goals. My main goal is strictly to try and maintain my physical shape by continuing to exercise on a daily basis and by eating healthy. I think eating healthy is an important goal that will help anyone who wants to stay fit.
ReplyDeleteI would like to set a goal of exercising a minimum of 2 or 3 days a week. I mean hard aerobic exercise, not game playing or walking. I need to do more of this type of exercising. I tend to just leisurely play around.
ReplyDeleteMy goal this year is to lose weight haha
ReplyDeleteat least 10 pounds, I'm not that fat but i could be healthier. I plan on going to the local gym at least an hour a day until I feel I can go on longer :).
I can't do much about the food part, I eat.. ALOT.. I guess my midnight snacks can turn into something healthier :).
My goal is to lose about 10 pounds. I also want to work with weights, to try and gain a bit of muscle. I also want to work on eating healthier.
ReplyDeleteEvery year I set a new year goal for myself, and every year I do not follow through. I believe this year will be different. I have made a realistic goal and I hope it will be a success this year. I am having a more positive out look on my goal and looking at it as more as a benifical factor in my life, rather than a chore.
ReplyDeleteI mainly want to stay healthy and eat right. So I will feel good and hopefully look good also ha ha.I never really follow through with my goals but this ones diffrent.
ReplyDeleteWe started a walk/run program, so my goal is to eventually enter a 5K.
