Last week we talked about willpower. It seems many of us don't need to have willpower for everything, but if we can figure out what sets us off, meaning why do we eat half the box of See's candy, then we're more aware of it and can channel our positive energy elsewhere.
When I find myself succumbing to that 'box of chocolate', I try to think positively about my health, my clothes fitting better, and/or my stomache not hurting because I've eaten the entire box! These positive ideas and thinking takes over and I feel like I've won! (see, we all have to play mind games with ourselves at some time or another, it's human!) Remember, no one says you can't eat one piece of candy, it's more than your fair share we're talking about here.
Thinking this way makes me want to continue on this positive path.

Thinking positively is the solution to nearly every problem. When it comes to fitness, thinking positively helps encourage us to work harder on achieving our fitness goals. For example, if you set a goal of losing five pounds, wouldn’t it feel better to think, “I only need to lose five more pounds!” rather than, “I still need to lose that extra five pounds?”
ReplyDeleteI always feel better after I have gone exericing. When my mom says to me that that wasn't so bad, I always think that. Maybe I should just get in the habit of making a positive comment when I get done exercising and then I might have a better attitude when I do have to exercise.
ReplyDeleteWhen we think positively about something we can accomplish almost anything! It keeps our hopes up and helps us to not give up. I believe that thinking positively is definetely necessary in losing weight. If we had a negative attitude towards exercising, then we wouldn't accomplish whatever goal we set.
ReplyDeleteThinking positive about anything is great, it gives us insentive to keep going or try harder. Thinking negative will only bring you down. Plus make it harder on yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhen I exercise during the day, my brain works better, and I think more "positive." If I'm boggled down with schoolwork, some light exercise always helps!
ReplyDeleteI believe that thibking postive will give you a brighter outlook at life. If you think positive you will be positive. By doing so I believe, that you will achieve bigger goals in life because of the simple fact that you have a greater outlook on things. If you believe in yourself you can do anything you want. Thinking positive is the solution to nearly every problem.
